I am not very good at writing reviews but here is an exception where I want to express my feelings, as I blown away by this tasty cake. Excellent and professional work from Jason/One Plate Please. I requested Jason if he could bake three cakes for me and he happily obliged. The cake itself was amazing in terms of flavour and texture but what made it extra special was it was packed very professionally and contained specific instructions on the right way of cutting and storing the cake to ensure its longevity. I tried this Christmas cake from oneplateplease for first time at the Christmas party 2022 in Frankfurt. I was pleasantly amazed to taste such a great tasting cake. I must say that it’s one of the best Christmas cakes we ever had. It must have nothing but the best and freshest ingredients, meticulously mixed.

Omg! This Kori Gassi recipe hit the spot! I’ve tried so many others, none came close to this. Perfectly explained, didn’t make any changes in the quantities except that I didn’t have ramnad chillies, just more kashmiri chillies as the ones we get here are somewhat spicy. Thank you! I didn’t have any curry left for day 2! Just chicken pieces.

The muffins came out great. Really soft and the use of honey made sure it wasn’t sweet. I did not use ghee , only because I did not have enough at home . Used unsalted butter which doesn’t help my calories . Simple and easy to make . Good for people who have just started baking.

A very easy recipe with minimal ingredients and a very authentic taste. Have tried many recipes earlier , but this was the best. I was skeptical to use the kokum skins, but I went ahead and used it and I’m so glad I did it. This is a Wonderful recipe👌and thank you for sharing it.

I know Jason to be a great cook making finger licking dishes! When I saw his Christmas cake on IG, it reminded me of my mom baking cakes during Christmas… hence asked him to bake one for me this year. He was really sweet to not just bake a cake but send it to Berlin. It really made my Christmas special, bringing back childhood memories of having a plum cake.
It was the most delicious, succulent and rich plum cake that you cannot resist. I have been relishing every piece of it. If possible please give it a try or ask the chef to bake one for you and you will not be disappointed at all! Thanks Jason again 🙂

I always loved Pork Pepper and used to try it in my way (with ready masalas) or my mom-in-law’s recipe . This time while browsing I found this recipe on One Plate Please and when I gave a try, using the spices mentioned and to do it from scratch, I was not sure how this will turn out but thanks to Jason, I followed same quantity and detailed description. To my surprise, the dish turned out to be super tasty, appealing to the eyes and yummy in the tummy . This recipe inspired me to shift from readymade spice powders do home made ones.

This name itself suggest a perfect Mangalorean breakfast. I tried this Sajjige-Bajil breakfast it was a hit and credit goes to One Plate Please. I wanted to try the Chilli Chicken recipe as soon as it was posted by One Plate Please. It was easy to make, tasted delicious and there were no leftovers. My son and family enjoyed every bite of this chicken. I personalised it by adding a tbsp. of rice wine vinegar in step 2 of making the chilli sauce to balance the flavour and taste. I am very happy with this recipe and will do it again. Thank you for this great recipe.

Pancakes are one of easy and tasty breakfast. Just prepared blueberry pancakes this weekend and it was very tasty. First time I tried cheese and berries in pancake  and they were soft spongy and delicious.

This is one of the signature dishes I order when we dine out in Mangalore. Sweet tangy flavour of masala oozing with ghee is enough to indulge in and those tiger prawns take this dish to next level. It’s one of the all time favorite dishes of mine and fellow friends and when I prepared this at home it took back me to my Bangalore days eating in Mangalorean restaurants.
